OPERATION PYTHON-1971

After the successful completion of Operation Trident, and resting for a while the Indian Marine Sharks got their second mission, which was noted as the most important and remarkable victory of our Indian Navy Army. The mission is well remembered as “Operation Python”. This operation was named Op. INDIAN AIR FORCE DAY

HOLI- ORDINARY DAY FOR INDIAN ARMY

Holi is the festival of colour, joy, happy time Holi, which falls in the month of Phalgun according to Hindu Calendar, which is a celebration for the arrival of spring and end of winter. Holi signifies the victory of good over evil and is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest. Entire India celebrates this festival with lots of joy and colours with their near and dear ones, but no one even bothers about the soldiers who are safeguarding our boundaries so that we can enjoy sound sleep at our home and celebrate festivals with our family and friends. For the Indian Army, the day of Holi is just an ordinary same day like their other days, they don’t feel any change in their routine because they are on duty.
